Epoxy compounds are 2 part (Resin and Hardener) which when mixed to a uniform and even consistency will start to cure by causing chemical chain reaction. Epoxy is a therosetting epoxy poly. The resin side of the part is sometime referred to as the base epoxy and the Hardener may be referred to as the catalyst. There is a huge selection of epoxies or epoxy available for specific industrial, commercial, marine and even military use.
