Tile glue or tile adhesive is a thinset or a mastic. Thinset tile adhesives comes in a powder form and must be mixed with water, liquid latex or an acrylic. Thinsets have a strong adhesion and are more flexible but are harder to use because it requires the right consistency before using.
Mastic are more commonly used in tile applications because they are premixed for you ready to use out of the bucket. Mastics should not be used with tiles that will get wet. |
